Radio Goethe was founded by Arndt Peltner in 1996 after he moved from Germany to San Francisco. It features the diverse, lively, and innovative music scenes from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

​The show is not formatted and is wide open to all different kinds of genres. You will hear Krautrock legends next to today’s songwriters, 80s Industrial pioneers next to Swiss Alphorns, Electronic music projects next to World Music produced by immigrants to Germany, and so on.
