Auditioning a Show idea
KRYZ is community public radio. We're always on the lookout for new DJs and new shows from the Mariposa County area. Want to try your hand at being a KRYZ DJ? The process is easy: put together a 15 - 20 minute demo of YOU hosting the show you want to do: music, talk, educational, whatever you want (keep it G rated!). There's a free piece of software called Audacity available for download which can help you if you're lacking the software to make your show demo.
Once your audition demo is done, send it in mp3 file format to kryzradio@gmail.com, ATTN Content Committee along with a description of your show, and why you want to do it. The station will reach out to you if there's interest in your show idea. If you have trouble with the process, just send us a note, and we'll get you going again.
If you'd like to support local public radio, you can become a sustaining member for as little as $10 a month. Your gift will help keep the music spinning, the hosts and the DJs on the air, and the focus of the programming local to the Mariposa community. Just click the link below, and choose the monthly option. And thank you, in advance!
