My name is David Putonen aka The Hawk. I host the Hawks Nest show every Wednesday at 5:00 pm and again on Sunday at 5:00 pm PST.
My Story
Hawk is in his 11th year of hosting the Hawk's Nest on KRYZ radio. Music is and always has been one of Hawk's biggest and most enjoyable interests in life. He has a wide range of musical taste including Rock, Blues, old school R&B and more. His favorite bands include the Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones, Muddy Waters, and Neil Young. His show, "The Hawk's Nest" reflects these interests and combined with many stories and weekly features, makes it a must listen each Sunday at 5pm. Hawk's other main interest is golf. He is an avid golfer and plays 2-3 times a week. Most importantly to Hawk is family and friends. He lives with his wife Kim and they enjoy all their 13 grandchildren. Hawk invites you to enjoy the world's greatest Happy Hour, each Sunday and Wednesday at 5pm Pacific.
