Hi. I'm David Budries!

David Budries is the current president (2026) of Mariposa's Community Radio Station, KRYZ. David moved to Mariposa in 2021 and loves living in the mountains and meeting the wonderful people of Mariposa. David has been a teacher of sound design, recording and music production since 1979 and has also produced radio shows for Scott Simon's Weekend Edition on NPR. He moved his sound reinforcement business called Sound Situation to Mariposa and is grateful to serve this community. He also plays music locally with the duo "Home Tonight" and volunteers at a number of local organizations. You can also find him on the County pickleball court, almost every morning.
